Connections Canada has located its bank switch, routers and aggregators at 151 Front Street, the central telecommunications hub in Canada, thus providing for the highest security levels available, multiple redundancy, and lower costs.

Requests received from your retail locations in IP are forwarded to your bank and returned to your POS terminals in less than 1 second. We maximize the security of your data and the availability of IP enabled debit/credit authorization requests by establishing a 168 bit encrypted tunnel from your retail location to the Connections Canada switch. Connections Canada maintains IP filtering on this point-to-point connection and a private network from its site to the banks.
